Terms of Service — Iterbook

Welcome to Iterbook, a social travel platform that allows users to share completed trips, discover travel inspiration from others, and save activities, hotels, restaurants, and destinations into their own travel plans. By accessing or using Iterbook, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Iterbook, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Iterbook.

2. Description of the Service

Iterbook provides a platform where users can:

• share completed trips, photos, reviews, and travel experiences;

• follow friends, creators, and other travelers;

• discover travel inspiration and recommendations;

• save individual activities, accommodations, restaurants, and destinations into personal travel plans.

Iterbook is not a travel agency, booking service, or provider of transportation or accommodation.

3. User Accounts

1. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information.

4. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Content

Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you create and upload, including photos, trip descriptions, reviews, and itineraries (“User Content”).

License to Iterbook

By posting User Content, you grant Iterbook a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, modify, distribute, and promote your content within the service and related marketing materials.

Your Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

• you own the content or have permission to use it;

• your content does not infringe any intellectual property or privacy rights;

• your content complies with applicable laws and these Terms.

Content Moderation

We may remove or restrict content that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful, illegal, misleading, or inappropriate.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• post unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or discriminatory content;

• harass, threaten, or impersonate others;

• upload malware, spam, or unauthorized advertising;

• scrape, copy, or misuse data from the platform;

• infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other rights;

• use Iterbook for illegal activities or fraud.

6. Intellectual Property

The Iterbook name, logo, app design, and platform technology are owned by Iterbook and protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited rights granted to you, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Third-Party Services and Content

Iterbook may display content, links, or integrations from third parties (such as hotels, restaurants, maps, or social login providers). We are not responsible for third-party services, content, or transactions.

8. Privacy

Your use of Iterbook is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

9. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us at support@iterbook.app. Deleting your account will remove your profile and personal data, except where retention is required by law.

10. Disclaimers

Iterbook is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that:

• the service will be uninterrupted or error-free;

• content will be accurate, complete, or reliable;

• travel recommendations will meet your expectations or be available at the time of travel.

Travel decisions are made at your own risk. Always verify information independently before booking or traveling.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Iterbook and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months, or €50 if no payment was made.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Iterbook and its operators from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Iterbook at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms or if continued operation of the service becomes impractical.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by other reasonable means. Continued use of Iterbook after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy, unless consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
